Paper-cutter, Printmaker and Textile Artist
Alicia Kelly was born and raised among the red dirt and wildflowers of northeastern Oklahoma. Her love of paper developed alongside her love of Indian textiles and screen-printing which lead her to the meditative practice of paper-cutting. Since receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking in 2010 from the University of Kansas, she has exhibited in numerous galleries, non-profit and flash spaces- including Stumptown Printers (Portland), Spencer Museum of Art (Lawrence, KS) and Hongik University (Seoul, South Korea). Her recent creative endeavors include a residency and installation at Proyecto Ace in Buenos Aires.
