Teen Visual Arts Studio programs encourage students ages 13-18 to meet and collaborate with fellow art-minded teens while learning to think and work like artists. Teen artists will be introduced to advanced art making equipment, techniques, materials, and concepts throughout Lawrence Arts Center's artists’ studios. Students will be encouraged to push their individual skills in drawing, painting, printmaking, metalwork, textiles, digital media, photography, creative writing, music, and more through dynamic instruction developed specifically to promote teen artistic expression

This open studio opportunity empowers students to explore their creativity with the guidance of artist-instructors. Begin and end each session with a studio check-in to share ideas and receive direction, while everything in-between is up to you. Build your portfolio, experiment with new tools and techniques, or simply hang-out and express yourself. Co-Op members receive access to Teen Artists' Workshops for free and a 20% discount code for other teen visual art classes during the session.
