Fiber and Book Arts, Mixed Media
Traci Bunkers, author of The Art Journal Workshop, Print & Stamp Lab, and Print It!, is a passionate mixed-media & fiber artist who loves rusty things, glitter glue, old books to cut up and cheap cameras. Since making her own books and art journaling have been a long time passion of hers, she always feels better after getting her art on by slapping some paint down and working in her journal. Through her one-woman business Bonkers Handmade Originals, she sells her nifty creations such as original artwork, hand-dyed spinning fibers and yarns, original rubber stamps, mixed-media supplies, handmade books, and kits. She has been teaching workshops across the US since the early 90s and has branched out into online workshops. Youth Visual Arts Studios: Ages 6-8
Youth Visual Arts Studio programs encourage young artists to discover and express new ideas using art elements, techniques, and principles. With guidance from teaching artists, students will investigate a variety of art mediums while making connections to big ideas through inclusive inspiration. Students will strengthen their individual skills, gain positive persistence, and express themselves through creative exploration and dynamic art experiences.
