Born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas, Connor Dyer began her career close to home. She attended KU and received a BFA in metalsmithing and jewelry. Following her graduation, she continued her education and received her MFA in metalsmithing and jewelry and MA in Art Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her work is inspired by her love of fantasy and sci-fiction. She often uses a mix of metal and fibers techniques to craft other-worldly wearables.
