Alysha Griffin is a poet, theatre artist, and scholar from Appling, GA. Inspired by her rural upbringing and deep family roots, she loves to tell stories about collisions between the past and present. She is a graduate of Spelman College (BA, English and History) and the University of Kansas (MA, Literature; PhD Theatre and Performance).
