Benjamin Knight is a Toronto born musician and sound engineer rooted in Lawrence, KS. He has experience mentoring during productions and has a strong passion for education. His introduction to performing arts was at a young age through the Lawrence Arts Center Summer Youth Theatre program which incited a creative, driven energy. Ben works as an in-house sound engineer at Liberty Hall, The Granada, The Bottleneck and of course LAC! His work on touring productions has also led him to multiple art centers in the United States including Brooklyn Academy of Music, Walker Art Center, SF Jazz, as well as art centers in Australia, Canada, Chile, China, England, Germany, Mexico, Taiwan, and United Arab Emirates. Ben discovers new audio techniques from each event he works and hopes to inspire new minds to discover techniques on their own with a foundation of basic audio knowledge.
