Teen Visual Arts Studio programs encourage students ages 13-18 to meet and collaborate with fellow art-minded teens while learning to think and work like artists. Teen artists will be introduced to advanced art making equipment, techniques, materials, and concepts throughout Lawrence Arts Center's artists’ studios. Students will be encouraged to push their individual skills in drawing, painting, printmaking, metalwork, textiles, digital media, photography, creative writing, music, and more through dynamic instruction developed specifically to promote teen artistic expression

Hang out with other teen writers as we explore archetypes and how to break the rules! We'll begin with a trip to The Raven Book Store to select decomposition books to fill with the ideas we develop at our Writer's Clubhouse at Sunflower Bike & Coffee. A cafe treat each week is included in the cost of this class.
